The Germane Channel Partner Program (GCPP) is designed expand the Germane sales team through the addition of an elite group of channel partners. The GCPP will enable Germane Systems to better serve their military, government and industrial customers. The GCPP provides Germane’s partners with a complete portfolio of rugged 1U, 2U and 3U computing solutions which includes enterprise-class rugged servers and storage systems. All Channel Partners have complete access to Germane’s customer focused marketing, engineering and sales support team.

Germane Systems Announces Appointment of VP of Engineering
November 8, 2010, Chantilly, Virginia – Germane Systems L.C. (“Germane” or the “Company”), a US rugged computer manufacturing company, has appointed Dr. Greg Hall as Vice President of Engineering.
Dr. Hall has over thirty years of experience in Engineering / Manufacturing / Operations disciplines, holding executive level positions with several world class electronics companies. His background includes overall responsibility for core functions and processes including product development, supplier qualification, ongoing reliability and design verification testing.
Prior to joining Germane, Dr. Hall spent ten years as Vice President of Operations for Optelecom-NKF, a leading global manufacturer and supplier of Advanced Surveillance Solutions for mission critical applications. In this position he was responsible for Operations in the US and Europe. Before moving into the international arena, Dr. Hall led Engineering and Manufacturing in the US. In this capacity he was directly responsible for leading the company’s product realization process., dramatically improving on-time project completion, project costing, product reliability, and on time delivery to >95%.
Previously he served in executive leadership positions for several high profile technology companies including AMERICOM Wireless Services, Manufacturing Services and Integration (MSI), Oak Frequency Control and Telecommunications Techniques Corporation (TTC).
Dr. Hall holds a BS in Electronic Engineering Technology, an MBA, and earned a Doctor of Psychology from Southern California University. he holds certifications in Inventory and Production Management from APICS, Quality Auditing from ASQ, and Purchasing Management from ISM.

Germane Systems hosts Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME)
Members of the Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME) will visit Germane on November 16th as part of their International Lean Conference. We are honored to be selected as a plant tour for the conference attendees. AME’s tours are highly rated because of the detailed audit procedure each tour site must pass to confirm their ability to showcase innovative Lean thinking and practices. AME visitors will see first hand how Germane Systems converted its production areas using visual workplace designs, standardized on-line work instructions and implemented a new facility layout dramatically reducing manufacturing defects and improving lead time. Visitors will see how the entire process is being tuned to not only increase flow but balance tasks throughout the kitting, assembly, quality control, burn-in and final inspection areas.
Virginia Deputy Secretary of Commerce and Trade visits Germane Systems
Carrie Cantrell, Virginia Deputy Secretary of Commerce and Trade will visit Germane Systems on November 16, 2010. Ms Cantrell will tour Germane Systems to see first-hand how we are contributing to Virginia’s economic recovery through growth of the business and creation of new jobs. During her visit Ms. Cantrell will make a presentation to the visiting members of the AME and the employees of Germane.
